2010 OARSI Call for Abstracts - NOW CLOSED
Acceptance notifications were sent electronically on June 21, 2010.
If you have been accepted as a poster presenter, please use the following instructions for preparing your poster:
POSTER FORMAT and SET-UP
Each poster will have a display area of two (2) meters tall by one (1) meter wide (6.5 feet tall by 3 feet wide) to display your materials. The overall area is reduced by a two-inch frame on all four sides.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SIZES FOR THE POSTERS ARE
TWO (2) METERS HIGH BY ONE (1) METER WIDE.
You may display your information in figures, tables, text, photographs, etc. Please prepare all illustrations neatly and legibly beforehand, in a size sufficient to read at a distance of three (3) feet. A series of typewritten sheets attached to the poster board is not acceptable. Double-sided tape will be available to fasten your material to the poster board.
Poster set up is to convene on Thursday, September 22, 2010 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Posters MUST remain on display until 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at which time authors will be responsible for dismantling. Any posters remaining after 5:00 pm on Saturday will be removed by staff and OARSI cannot be responsible for your poster.
For your convenience, please visit the OARSI Website at www.oarsi.org for registration and hotel information. On-line registration is available for the meeting. Please be sure to register prior to August 20, 2010 to receive the Pre-Congress rate.
Congress registration includes 2011 dues renewal and/or membership.
Registration fees include 2011 dues renewal or new membership and the subscription to the journal Osteoarthritis and Cartilage. All new membership begins January, 2011.
Please note that all presenters are expected to cover their own travel and lodging and pay the registration fees.
ALL presenters are required to register for the meeting.
