Clinical and Basic Award Applications Now Open

The purpose of the OARSI Clinical Research and Basic Science Awards are to recognize excellence in clinical and basic research related to osteoarthritis. Research domains include, but are not limited to, areas such as epidemiology and health-services research, clinical outcomes, translational research, and therapeutics, encompassing all phases of research having clinical implications. This research must have been conducted within the last five years.

The two award recipients are required to present a talk at the OARSI Congress in Amsterdam in April, 2016.

Call for Abstracts Closed


The Osteoarthritis Research Society International thanks all those who submitted abstracts for the 2016 World Congress. All abstracts  will be peer reviewed and may be accepted for either an oral presentation or poster presentation.  Authors will receive notifications in mid-December 2015.


Registration will open in December.    Housing is now available. 


2016 OARSI Collaborative Scholarship

OARSI is now accepting applications for the 2016 collaborative scholarships.
The goal of the program is to provide enriched international and national exchange that will foster the acquisition of skills in specialized scientific methodologies, knowledge translation, and dissemination of research. The scholarship will also provide educational, networking and partnership opportunities.

Award Amount: Multiple Scholarships of $6500 (USD) each.

Places for Rotation: Institutions with experience in OA Research (Basic/Clinical).

Training Rotations: The award will support up to a six month visit for graduate students and fellows.
