Dick Heinegard Travel Fellowship
The Osteoarthritis Research Society International has established the Dick Heinegard Travel Fellowship to honor the memory of a leader in our field.
Dick was a foremost expert on matrix biology, a preeminent biochemist and since 1983 Professor of Cell and Molecular Biology at Lund University, Sweden. His unparalleled scientific contributions published in more than 300 research papers, his collaborative spirit and generous mentoring of many young colleagues formed our field and will live on.
This fellowship will allow an OARSI member to visit the laboratory of any other investigator to enhance scientific advances through national and international collaborations.
Contributions to OARSI enable us to provide annual scholarships which enable young investigators to travel to other institutions to further their research. In addition, donations help fund OARSI initiatives such as guidelines and biomarkers to help advance the field of osteoarthritis research.
When you click on the Donate Now button, you will have the opportunity to select your donation fund.
