In this session Statistical Editors of Osteoarthritis and Cartilage will offer their insights into ‘do’s and dont’s’ of sample size estimation for clinical and basic science research, discuss major pitfalls of sample size estimation, describe journal requirements regarding sample size justification and offer a few key practical lessons of how to ‘do it right’.
