OARSI Connect '21 Recorded Content

Did you know that all of the recorded sessions from OARSI Connect ‘21 are available to registered attendees through April 2022!? If you missed a session because you attended another session or it occurred at a time that was inconvenient for you, you can view it by logging into the virtual meeting website. Just navigate to the Agenda page and select the session(s) you want to view.

If you missed OARSI Connect ‘21, you can still register and have access to the recordings. It simple, just register HERE.

Speaking of OARSI Connect ‘21… Following the conclusion of the conference, all registrants were sent an email with a link to assist us in evaluating the conference. Meet the OARSI Executive Committee

The Executive Committee (EC) of the Board of Directors (Executive Officers) consists of five (5) members: President, President-Elect, Secretary-General, Treasurer, and Immediate Past President. The EC can act for the Board of Directors in urgent matters that arise between meetings of the Board and shall act on matters specifically referred to it by the Board. The EC meets on a bi-weekly basis with staff from OARSI Headquarters.

We would like to welcome Ida Haugen to the OARSI Executive Committee. Ida will serve a one-year term, ending in April 2022. In addition to her new role on the EC, Ida is an OARSI Board member and serves on the Engagement Committee. Most recently, she served on the Finance, and Nominating Committees and Chaired the Young Investigators Committee.  Welcome, Ida!

Join a Discussion Group

OARSI's Discussion Groups bring together individuals with a focus on specific OA-related specialty areas. To make the Discussion Groups easier to join we have updated our database. Now OARSI members can log in to their profile and select the Discussion Group(s) that they would like to join. By updating your profile with your Discussion Group preferences, we will be able to send targeted emails to each Discussion Group and maintain an official roster for each group. To update your profile, follow these steps.

  • Log in to OARSI.org
  • Click on the menu button in the top left of the screen
  • Select ‘My Profile’
  • Select ‘Edit'
  • Select the ‘My Account’ tab
  • Scroll to Discussion Groups and select your group(s)

 

OARSI Live Webinar Recordings and Call for Presenters

From January through mid-April, OARSI hosted a weekly webinar series. The webinars were held on Wednesday mornings at 9 am ET. The series is currently on hiatus until the early fall, but the recordings of the webinars are available to view HERE.

Making the patient voice heard in a research consortium: experience from an EU project

APPROACH is an EU-wide research consortium with the goal to identify different subgroups of knee osteoarthritis to enable future differential diagnosis and treatment. During a 2-year clinical study images, biomarkers and clinical data are collected from people living with knee osteoarthritis, and data are analyzed to confirm patterns that can indicate such different subgroups. Delphi Survey

Are you a clinician who cares for patients with osteoarthritis? Participate in a research study by taking a brief survey to establish a recommended set of measures for evaluating OA Management Programs.
