Attend the OARSI World Congress in 2026!
I wish you all a great start to 2026! If you have the possibility, please make sure you join us at the upcoming OARSI World Congress in West Palm Beach April 23-26, 2026! In a time of conflicts and tensions around the globe, it is more important than ever that our scientific community stays united, meets and builds friendships – all to makes progress in our common strive to advance OA science and ultimately to benefit the many million patients worldwide suffering with OA.
The late-breaking abstract submission will open on January 14, with submission deadline of February 11, 2026.
Please take the opportunity to showcase and get feedback on your science, meet friends and colleagues from all over the world, and enjoy the lovely venue by joining us in Florida.
Please note, out of the accepted late-breaking abstract
submissions we will randomly draw three lucky winners of a
complimentary OARSI T-shirt (to be picked up at the OARSI
registration desk in West Palm Beach by the presenting
author).
The preliminary scientific program can be found online on the

Congress registration is now open and the early-bird deadline for reduced registration fee is March 7, 2026. Make sure to register! Please note, we will randomly draw ten lucky winners of a
complimentary OARSI T-shirt from the early-bird registrants. The winners will be notified by email and the t-shirt can be picked up by the registrant at the West Palm Beach OARSI registration desk.
Please also note, a limited quantity of OARSI T-shirts (available in the sized S, M, L and XL) will also be available for purchase at the West Palm Beach OARSI registration desk.

Register for the Congress Dinner Event!
When registering for the Congress, please also make sure to register for the optional and fun Congress Dinner event. I promise another much more exciting and challenging Presidential Music Quiz this year with lots of prizes! This time I will be monitoring the use of cell phones to gain unfair advantage extra carefully! NEW At the dinner event I will also award nice prizes for best costumes in the theme of music stars (i.e., pop stars, rock idols etc). So (optional), please make sure to be creative and bring your best outfits to wear for this dinner event! Science should be fun!

In Sweden, we have finally received lots of snow and cold weather – a
proper lovely winter on the Northern hemisphere. Still, I look truly
forward seeing you all in April, Florida, at our World Congress! I’m sure
it will be warmer than I had when hiking in the Swedish mountains a
couple of days ago during a windy snow fall!
